Interior design workplace environment

Newbuild flexible office and workspace

We have been commissioned by VEGA Projects and EDGE Technologies to design the public areas and conference centre of the impressive new EDGE HafenCity development in Hamburg.
The HafenCity district and its diversity are the inspiration for the project.
For its residents, EDGE Technologies creates a similar environment.
The inviting architecture of HENN Architects attracts passers-by and visitors alike.
The terraced staircases wind upwards, mimicking the topography of nearby Piazza Amerigo Vespucci. At the same time, they create collaborative, flexible workspaces and encourage interaction between the building's occupants.

Well-being
Inside the building, at the top of the terraced staircase, a variety of flexible office and work spaces encourage collaboration and productivity.
In het centrale atrium verbindt een trap speciale huurdersruimtes en ruimtes voor informele interactie.
This encourages physical activity throughout the day. This is part of the WELL concept of healthier building design, which focuses on people's well-being.
And it's just one of the many wellness initiatives in the building.
